Responsibilities
- Analyze functional requirements and understand test cases.
- Develop and implement acceptance software tools for testing satellite prototypes during production.
- Implement test tools suitable for a manufacturing environment.
- Use feedback from the production team to improve software tools.
- Collaborate on developing and implementing test-tool frameworks.
- Oversee the quality and reliability of software solutions.
- Work with electronics, mechanical, flight software, manufacturing, and AIT engineers.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in software or electronics.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience or strong interest in working with electronics in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with highly integrated systems and interdisciplinary teams, including electronics, software, optics, and mechanics.
- Hands-on experience with RTOS and/or Linux.
- Experience with real-time constraints and hardware interfaces such as SPI, UART, I2C, USB, Ethernet, and MQTT.
- C proficiency is desirable.
- Familiarity with Docker or container technologies is desirable.
- Familiarity with GitLab or similar source-code management tools is desirable.
- Advanced English proficiency, continuous learning, adaptability, and strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
