Responsibilities
- Act as a prolific individual contributor while providing technical leadership and mentorship.
- Design and develop robust, high-performance architecture and services for the flagship product.
- Translate user insights into seamless, high-performance technical solutions.
- Own critical features end-to-end and monitor their operational health.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Champion engineering excellence and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in building and scaling complex systems.
- Strong product mindset with empathy for users and a drive for exceptional customer experience.
- Proven track record as a hands-on coder with technical leadership skills.
- In-depth experience with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and API design.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and develop creative solutions.
- Collaborative team player with experience working with global partners.
- Commitment to engineering excellence across the software development lifecycle.
- Problem-solving mindset with a passion for tackling challenging technical issues.
- Domain knowledge in the travel industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
