Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering and execution of scalable enterprise generative AI solutions from concept through production.
- Design and implement generative AI models and agentic AI architectures using LLMs and multi-agent systems.
- Integrate AI services into existing enterprise systems through robust, high-performance APIs.
- Develop AI applications and integrations using Python frameworks and significant Java development experience.
- Build, deploy, and optimize AI models using machine learning frameworks and libraries.
- Create, deploy, and integrate Model Context Protocols into agentic AI systems.
- Apply system, application, and data architecture patterns including API-first, microservices, and event-driven designs.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Champion version control, CI/CD, testing, code reviews, resiliency, security, and operational stability.
- Identify and solve complex technical challenges across critical AI initiatives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience with significant generative AI experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java full-stack development.
- Expert-level Python proficiency and experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or PySpark.
- Understanding of knowledge representation, automated planning, decision-making under uncertainty, and multi-agent systems.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI orchestration tools such as Google ADK, LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Extensive experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, and Pandas.
- Experience creating, deploying, and integrating MCPs into agentic AI systems.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Llama in agentic systems.
- Experience designing and implementing robust APIs for AI services.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
- Strong understanding of application resiliency, security principles, system design, application development, and operational stability.
- Experience with API-first, microservices, and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Oracle, Postgres, or MongoDB.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Banking or financial services experience and familiarity with regulatory environments are preferred.
