
Front End Developer (With an Eye for Design)

Responsibilities
- Build pixel-perfect websites, landing pages, interactive forms, microsites, infographics, and other interactive web experiences.
- Create rapid prototypes for product and creative concept testing.
- Develop responsive interfaces using Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies.
- Provide creative usability solutions while following brand and style guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Creative Team and internal Technology, Marketing, Product, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain web standards and stay current with frontend technologies, advertising formats, mobile experiences, and web video.
- Contribute to the LendingTree brand through its online presence and improve creative performance through analytics and testing.
- Manage multiple projects, clarify goals and delivery timeframes, and iterate based on constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year school in graphic design, computer science, or a closely related equivalent.
- More than three years of experience in frontend development and relevant interactive media.
- Online portfolio or project list demonstrating strong coding principles, problem-solving, and visual communication.
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS, SASS or LESS, WordPress, and PHP.
- Experience with Bootstrap, responsive web design, custom grids, cross-platform browser development, and local development environments.
- Intermediate JavaScript and jQuery skills, including form validation, calculations, and DOM manipulation.
- Production experience with Git, including resolving code conflicts and versioning issues.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, understand business objectives, and contribute strategic and innovative ideas.
- Preferred qualifications include mobile-first UI development, CSS keyframe animation, vanilla JavaScript, progressive web app development, and automated development workflows using Gulp, NPM or Yarn, and Node.js.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while handling multiple projects and incorporating feedback.
