Base Salary
$191k - $293k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Tanium products alongside an agile development team.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new product ideas from the ground up while incorporating feedback from product management and customers.
- Build backend services, APIs, common data services, time-series data systems, dashboarding and reporting capabilities, and GraphQL integrations.
- Develop higher-level services supporting product functionality, security, operations, and auditing.
- Write automated tests, debug production issues, and balance rapid development with long-term maintainability and supportability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a computer science degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- Experience designing and building high-impact, high-performance, scalable, observable, and maintainable backend services and APIs.
- Knowledge of Golang, Node.js, or another modern programming language, with Golang preferred.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and other frontend technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, SQL, or MySQL.
- Experience designing and developing HTTP APIs and using development and automation tools such as Git and Jenkins.
- Experience integrating AI tools and technologies into software development, including AI-assisted coding and prompt engineering.
- Strong debugging ability, sound technical judgment, and versatility with modern server-side and browser-side frameworks.
