Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex backend features, distributed microservices, and asynchronous APIs.
- Build event-driven data pipelines, real-time message integrations, serverless functions, and distributed caching strategies.
- Implement error handling, database migrations, authentication and authorization flows, and micro frontend architecture.
- Manage infrastructure as code, optimize containerized environments, and establish observability using tracing, metrics, and logging.
- Maintain automated unit, integration, and load-test coverage and conduct performance profiling.
- Provide technical guidance through code reviews, pair programming, and alignment discussions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with high-level backend languages such as Python, Go, or Java, plus frontend development with Angular.
- At least 2 years of experience scaling production distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of microservices communication, event streaming, message brokers, containerization, and event-sourcing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems, serverless compute, managed storage, IAM, infrastructure as code, and secure API design.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with demonstrated ownership of technical initiatives and leadership of alignment discussions.
- Preferred experience includes integrating cloud architectures with legacy databases, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, high-availability and disaster-recovery planning, and using Prometheus, Grafana, and performance profiling tools.
