Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement novel methods for efficient Generative AI training and inference.
- Design algorithmic model optimization and training methods using quantization, sparsity, and innovative parallelism strategies.
- Optimize Generative AI models for performance, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Integrate AI models into software applications and platforms in collaboration with software engineers, data scientists, and researchers.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams.
- Innovate and publish technical work.
- Stay current with advances in AI algorithms, frameworks, and technologies.
Requirements
- PhD or master’s degree in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field.
- Project experience with generative tasks and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, ONNX, or TensorFlow.
- Experience with linear scaling of large language models and training at scale.
- Project experience with model compression, quantization, and end-to-end inference optimization.
- Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence, deep learning, or machine learning.
- Strong Python coding skills.
- C/C++ skills are a plus.
- Experience with academic paper writing and technical innovation is expected.
- Recent publications at conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICML, or ICLR are a plus.
- Experience with LLMs, large multimodal models, Stable Diffusion, or text-to-video generation is a plus.
