Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated UI tests with Selenium and REST API tests using Python.
- Analyze product requirements and specifications to create test scenarios and automation suites.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to define automation coverage and improve testability.
- Build reporting, dashboard, and automated notification tools for testing.
- Apply best practices to create reliable and maintainable automation.
- Support and maintain test infrastructure and environments.
- Mentor junior engineers on automation best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in test automation, QA engineering, or SDET roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Selenium, and API testing using tools such as requests, pytest, or Postman.
- Experience working with products that have hardware and software dependencies.
- Practical understanding of testing principles, test case design, and QA best practices.
- Proficiency with Jenkins for CI/CD and test pipeline integration.
- Experience working with Docker environments.
- Strong command of Linux environments and Git workflows.
- Applicants must be eligible to handle export-controlled information or obtain required U.S. Government authorizations.
