Responsibilities
- Customize and extend the Front Arena platform to deliver new risk and valuation capabilities.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy functionality integrated across trading and back-office ecosystems.
- Own critical services and ensure high availability and minimal production downtime.
- Lead integrations between Front Arena and upstream and downstream pricing, market-data, and risk-engine systems.
- Analyze root causes and resolve complex production incidents.
- Conduct code reviews and implement improvements to performance, scalability, and operational resilience.
- Contribute to change and release management within an agile SAFe delivery framework.
- Maintain ethical conduct, risk discipline, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Front Arena roles supporting trading, mid-office, valuation, and risk.
- 8+ years of hands-on Front Arena development using AEL, ACM, and ADFL, all three required.
- Solid understanding of capital markets, particularly structured products and equity derivatives.
- In-depth knowledge of financial-product lifecycles, including cash flows, corporate actions, and expiries.
- Practical experience with Front Arena data models, workflows, and component interactions.
- Experience working in agile teams using tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, dynamic prioritization, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work on Swiss/Zurich public holidays when foreign markets are open.
