Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve AI agents for engineering workflows, knowledge discovery, and developer productivity.
- Develop tools and API integrations that enable agents to retrieve information, interact with enterprise systems, and perform multi-step tasks.
- Contribute to user interfaces, backend services, and reusable platform capabilities for AI applications.
- Experiment with prompts, context management, and agent workflows using test results and user feedback.
- Build automated tests and evaluation scenarios covering task completion, accuracy, reliability, safety, latency, and cost.
- Apply secure software development practices such as input validation, access controls, and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, deliver defined features, participate in code reviews, document technical decisions, and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
- Be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
- Understand software engineering fundamentals including data structures, modular design, debugging, and testing.
- Have experience building software through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or previous internships.
- Have basic familiarity with large language models and interest in building AI-powered applications.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and communication skills, collaboration, ability to incorporate feedback, and independent learning.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, structured outputs, multi-step agent workflows, web applications, databases, Git-based development, knowledge retrieval, RAG, agent evaluation, automated testing, containers, application monitoring, or AI-assisted development tools.
