Base Salary
$74k - $98k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own work across the full mobile application development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and improvement.
- Develop and maintain Android applications for mission-critical digital communication systems.
- Analyze and tune application performance, including memory usage, CPU utilization, and leak detection.
- Debug and resolve challenging software issues while ensuring application quality and stability.
- Mentor and guide other engineers and collaborate with distributed teams and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on Android development experience.
- Experience with Android UI frameworks, Android OS, Android Studio, and the Android SDK.
- Required proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with C and C++ and strong debugging skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Bluetooth, BLE, NFC, WiFi, ProSe, mobile application development tools, testing, configuration management, REST, TCP/IP, SIP, RTP, HTTP, and UDP is preferred or advantageous.
