Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Physical AI solutions for industrial automation, collaborative robotics, and autonomous systems.
- Design sensor-processing pipelines using LiDAR and depth cameras for robotic navigation.
- Develop and optimize control algorithms for legged and humanoid robots, including whole-body control and trajectory optimization.
- Integrate AI algorithms into complex physical systems and manage the full simulation, validation, and hardware deployment lifecycle.
- Train and integrate AI models into ROS 2 architectures and define software architectures for distributed robotic systems.
- Conduct rigorous testing and performance evaluation of robotic systems.
- Research and develop new Physical AI technologies and methodologies.
- Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and enterprise clients on high-impact projects.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in applied robotics, or a PhD focused on real-world projects.
- Expertise with ROS 2, including Nav2, tf2, and lifecycle nodes.
- Experience with Isaac Sim, Isaac Gym, or Gazebo and sim-to-real transfer.
- Experience processing point clouds with PCL or Open3D and working with sensor fusion.
- Experience with PyTorch and reinforcement learning applied to motion control.
- Advanced Python and C++ for performance-critical modules.
- Experience with legged or humanoid robots, such as Unitree, Boston Dynamics, Agility, or Figure.
- Knowledge of locomotion-control algorithms, including whole-body control and trajectory optimization.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, and TensorRT.
- Experience with GPU computing using CUDA and deployment on Jetson edge devices.
- Background in industrial or construction-site environments.
- Analytical mindset, flexibility, teamwork, English proficiency, familiarity with artificial-intelligence tools, and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
