Base Salary
$79k - $107k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute software test protocols during product development and verification.
- Write and update test protocols covering product software requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing using manual and automated techniques.
- Validate test methods and software development tools.
- Collaborate with software developers to test completed features.
- Log, analyze, and report test results.
- Create and manage documentation for the FDA-compliant quality assurance system.
- Define and improve testing standards, guidelines, procedures, processes, and metrics.
- Create and maintain automated UI tests in a continuous integrated environment.
- Triage and investigate bug reports and complaints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Experience with medical device development or sustaining engineering using a stage-gate process.
- Working knowledge of FDA Design Controls.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges, exercise sound judgment, collaborate across cross-functional teams and sites, manage multiple workstreams, communicate effectively, and present information to stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with handheld electro-mechanical devices.
- Preferred knowledge of international standards including IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 10993, and IEC 60601.
- Experience developing product design deliverables is preferred.
- Preferred experience with Bash, Perl, or Python scripting languages.
