Base Salary

$79k - $107k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Execute software test protocols during product development and verification.
  • Write and update test protocols covering product software requirements.
  • Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing using manual and automated techniques.
  • Validate test methods and software development tools.
  • Collaborate with software developers to test completed features.
  • Log, analyze, and report test results.
  • Create and manage documentation for the FDA-compliant quality assurance system.
  • Define and improve testing standards, guidelines, procedures, processes, and metrics.
  • Create and maintain automated UI tests in a continuous integrated environment.
  • Triage and investigate bug reports and complaints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience with medical device development or sustaining engineering using a stage-gate process.
  • Working knowledge of FDA Design Controls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Ability to solve complex technical challenges, exercise sound judgment, collaborate across cross-functional teams and sites, manage multiple workstreams, communicate effectively, and present information to stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with handheld electro-mechanical devices.
  • Preferred knowledge of international standards including IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 10993, and IEC 60601.
  • Experience developing product design deliverables is preferred.
  • Preferred experience with Bash, Perl, or Python scripting languages.
