Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based components and features with support from experienced developers.
- Participate in requirements analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and the broader software development lifecycle.
- Write maintainable code, investigate and fix bugs, and improve existing functionality.
- Collaborate with Java developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional team members.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, Agile Scrum activities, and team efficiency improvements.
- Use AI-powered tools responsibly to improve productivity, explore solutions, automate repetitive work, and support development.
- Continuously develop technical skills and share knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Java fundamentals and Java Core.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Some experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, Git, version control, and unit testing.
- Academic, personal, or professional experience developing software in Java.
- Willingness to learn Spring, Spring Boot, and other team technologies.
- Ability to collaborate, ask questions, learn continuously, and communicate effectively in English.
- Preferred qualifications include Spring or Spring Boot, REST API, Maven or Gradle, Docker, CI/CD, Git-based workflows, personal or university projects, internship or commercial development experience, and experience using AI coding tools.
