Base Salary
$135k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify firmware and embedded software.
- Define the architecture, implementation, verification, and validation of firmware for embedded metrology products.
- Troubleshoot firmware applications and support development and diagnostics of hardware surrounding the processor.
- Collaborate with software engineers, engineers, and scientists across disciplines to solve technical problems.
- Use emulators, communication bus monitoring hardware and software, oscilloscopes, and similar tools to develop and debug products.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Experience developing embedded system architecture and algorithms.
- Fluency in C and C++ programming languages.
- Knowledge of machine language, assembly language, and high-level programming languages.
- Experience using emulators, communication bus monitoring hardware and software, oscilloscopes, and similar product-development and debugging tools.
- Preferred experience with EtherCAT or comparable field buses.
- Preferred experience with Python or FreeRTOS.
- Preferred experience with the STM32 family of processors.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
