Responsibilities
- Model business domains into relational and NoSQL data structures.
- Design and build scalable REST APIs for microservices using ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Build CPU-, memory-, and throughput-optimized file-processing workers.
- Design AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design and service-structure decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of backend experience with REST APIs.
- Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals and critical-thinking ability.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL, including schema design, indexes, and transactions.
- Experience with Redis or distributed caching.
- Demonstrated ability to model business logic into databases.
- Ability to work independently on complex, underspecified problems.
- Preferred: knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and fault-tolerance patterns.
- Preferred: familiarity with API design patterns such as Clean Architecture.
- Preferred: experience processing PDFs, images, videos, or other large binary files.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Preferred: practical knowledge of AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Preferred: experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues such as SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
- Preferred: knowledge of asynchronous programming and multithreading in C#.
- Preferred: relevant AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer.
