Responsibilities
- Develop the CAD tool’s Java kernel and MATLAB interface based on design-engineering requirements.
- Implement algorithms such as geometric operations for innovative sensor designs.
- Optimize the tool’s efficiency and usability using user feedback and experience.
- Ensure reliability through rigorous testing.
- Automate design workflows to reduce the time required to develop new sensors.
- Support users in applying the CAD tool.
- Apply state-of-the-art AI to design workflows.
Requirements
- Education or background in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a similar discipline with a track record in software development.
- Required experience with Java, preferably desktop application development.
- Required experience and curiosity in using modern AI capabilities.
- Strongly preferred experience with CAD or numerical algorithms.
- Strongly preferred programming experience in MATLAB.
- Knowledge of mechanical simulations using finite-element analysis is advantageous.
- Knowledge of micro-electro-mechanical systems is advantageous.
- Professional written and spoken English is required.
