Software Developer in Computer-Aided Design

- Develop a CAD tool using a Java kernel and MATLAB interface.
- Implement algorithms for geometric operations and innovative sensor designs.
- Optimize the tool for efficiency and usability based on user experience.
- Ensure tool reliability through rigorous testing.
- Automate design workflows to reduce the development time of new sensors.
- Support users in applying the tool.
- Apply modern AI capabilities to design workflows.
- Collaborate with in-house R&D and customers in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
Requirements
- Education in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a similar discipline with a track record in software development.
- Required experience with Java, preferably desktop application development.
- Required experience and curiosity in using modern AI capabilities.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Experience with CAD or numerical algorithms is strongly preferred.
- Programming experience in MATLAB is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical simulations using finite-element analysis is advantageous.
- Knowledge of micro-electro-mechanical systems is advantageous.
