Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the platform that moves code, models, and data from development into global live trading.
- Build and maintain dependency resolution, deployment, build, release, promotion, approval, and rollback systems.
- Extend deployment orchestration and scheduling infrastructure across regions.
- Build observability into deployments and production services.
- Automate manual operational processes in partnership with Research and Trading Operations.
- Improve production reliability through alerting, failure handling, fallback, and recovery.
- Set engineering standards for clean, tested, documented, and maintainable Python platform code.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with Java and C++.
- Track record of building production-grade systems.
- Experience with distributed systems, deployment pipelines, or internal developer platforms.
- Familiarity with configuration generation and management, workload orchestration such as Nomad or Kubernetes, and production debugging.
- Comfort operating production systems where uptime, latency, and correctness are critical.
- Exposure to trading systems, market data, or production model lifecycle management is helpful but not required.
- Strong action orientation, accountability, automation mindset, independent problem solving, and collaborative communication.
