Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, simulate, and test automation products and processes.
- Build, improve, and maintain reusable automation frameworks and libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage cases for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Develop automated testing tools and software validation processes, and execute automated tests.
- Track functional and non-functional coverage metrics, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, and mitigation techniques.
- Collaborate with development, Agile delivery, project management, testers, clients, and business subject matter experts.
- Support acceptance criteria creation, automation backlog development, and continuous deployment process improvements.
- Perform backend and database programming for key projects.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, performance reviews, and project outcomes.
Requirements
- Mandatory experience in test automation.
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Ability to design and implement automated testing tools and validation processes.
- Experience with functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Ability to analyze technical architectures, develop technical specifications, and resolve complex design issues.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming for key projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with testers, users, developers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to document code and projects according to organizational standards and use accepted design patterns.
