Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, review, analyze, and modify Java and GoLang backend applications.
- Design, develop, and integrate cross-functional, multi-platform enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain flexible, modular, scalable cloud-based solutions across multiple backend systems.
- Assist with technical planning, strategy, requirements gathering, and preparation of design specifications.
- Act as a subject matter expert for other developers while performing hands-on coding.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience.
- Java development experience, including Java EE and Java SE.
- Good knowledge of GoLang is an asset.
- Familiarity with Docker, Azure services, Azure SQL, Databricks, ADLS, Event Hub, ADF, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift, web services/APIs, web security, networking, and Unix.
- Experience or knowledge related to database development, scalable web applications, observability, system reliability, and security engineering.
- Education or professional background in Computer Science, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field is indicated.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, end users, business analysts, and technical resources.
