Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
- Administer Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or OpenShift platforms.
- Implement GitOps practices using ArgoCD or FluxCD.
- Integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle with software engineering teams.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues while improving platform reliability and security.
- Support security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, containerization, and Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms such as Amazon EKS or OpenShift.
- Familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, security best practices, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with FastAPI or Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience building cloud-native platforms and microservices.
- AWS or Kubernetes certifications are advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and people-management skills.
