Base Salary
$175k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and architecture assessments for production AI systems.
- Embed with Forward Deployed Engineering teams in customer environments to assess security posture, identify gaps, and implement controls.
- Build reusable security automation, scanning, testing, monitoring, and security accelerators for forward-deployed AI systems.
- Implement controls for prompt injection, guardrail bypass, model endpoint security, training data protection, output filtering, and data isolation.
- Integrate security into engineering workflows through security gates, secrets management, dependency scanning, and container security.
- Triage and respond to production security incidents and build monitoring and alerting for AI-specific security signals.
- Document reusable security patterns, playbooks, and architectural guidance.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- At least 5 years of experience across application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud security, AI security, threat intelligence, or penetration testing.
- At least 5 years of experience identifying security risks and developing mitigation plans.
- At least 4 years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review.
- Knowledge of at least two of Scala, Java, Python, C, C++, or Go.
- Experience with threat modeling and penetration testing, or equivalent strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication capabilities.
- Preferred experience with service-oriented architectures, microservices, and web services.
- Preferred Top Secret-or-higher US government clearance or 7+ years of IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role.
- Preferred experience with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST.
- Preferred experience with AWS technologies.
