Responsibilities
- Design and develop software functionality and applications for functional, non-functional, and maintenance requirements.
- Make high-level architectural decisions and propose design patterns for scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions.
- Integrate software components and systems to ensure interoperability.
- Develop test cases, conduct code reviews, debug software, and resolve issues to maintain solution quality and reliability.
- Create technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, and code documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders, share knowledge, and contribute to project planning.
- Support and troubleshoot production incidents with urgency while assessing customer impact.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in large-scale software development.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java or Advanced Java.
- At least 3 years of experience developing services with Spring, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Product Management, Engineering, and UX stakeholders.
- At least 3 years of experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- At least 1 year of experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; the stated alternative is a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include pharmacy experience, Python or Node.js experience, knowledge of PCI, PII, and PHI compliance, Agile process knowledge, Jenkins or GitHub Actions experience, strong communication skills, and TDD experience.
