Responsibilities
- Own and maintain highly available production systems and lead P1/P2 incident response, RCA, and PIR processes.
- Design, build, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Operate and improve Kubernetes/EKS platforms, including networking, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resilience.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
- Manage observability, alerting, and on-call operations with PagerDuty, Zenduty, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Datadog.
- Automate operational processes, improve reliability and performance, document operations, contribute to cloud architecture and compliance initiatives, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Strong production experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD, including operating EKS-based platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, automation, production incident response, and 24×7 on-call operations.
- Solid Linux and cloud networking knowledge, plus experience with observability tools such as ELK and Prometheus.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Preferred: an engineering degree in computer science or equivalent, cloud certifications such as AWS SysOps or DevOps Engineer or CKA/CKAD, and exposure to ITSM or change management in regulated industries.
