Responsibilities
- Work in cross-functional teams to connect product requirements with technical execution.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-quality Android applications.
- Take ownership of product work and deliver secure, responsive, and attractive mobile banking experiences.
- Share knowledge within the team and across the wider engineering organization.
- Apply testing and sound software architecture practices while working in an evolving regulatory and technical environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience building high-quality Android applications at fast-paced technology companies or fintech startups.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable mobile solutions.
- Experience with the Android Open Source Platform and Material Design principles.
- Experience with Kotlin, Kotlin coroutines, and Flow.
- Fluency with Compose and an understanding of responsive, secure mobile banking applications.
- Preferred experience with Model-View-ViewModel architectural patterns, testability, Test-Driven Development or Behavior-Driven Development, and Dependency Injection.
- Participation in or speaking at Android community meetups and conferences is preferred.
