  • Develop RTOS-based software components, low-level firmware, board bring-up procedures, drivers, peripheral interfaces, and hardware/software interactions.
  • Debug complex system-level issues across firmware, drivers, RTOS, and platform layers using software tools and laboratory equipment.
  • Work on display technologies including frame composition and transfer, framebuffers, color formats, font rendering, vector graphics, and UI frameworks.
  • Develop Python-based log analysis, test automation, debugging utilities, and workflow optimizations.
  • Optimize software and AI workloads for embedded, real-time, and power-constrained platforms, including embedded AI inference and NPU acceleration.
  • Collaborate with hardware, systems, architecture, validation, test, product, and customer engineering teams.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance on embedded software design, implementation, and debugging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of embedded software or firmware development experience is preferred for the Staff role.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, master’s degree with 1+ year of related experience, or a PhD in a relevant field meets the stated minimum qualifications.
  • Strong programming experience in C and C++, with at least 2 years of academic or work experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Strong experience with RTOS-based environments, preferably Zephyr RTOS, including scheduling, interrupts, timers, synchronization, memory management, and inter-task communication.
  • Experience with ARM and/or RISC-V architectures, SoC interconnects, CPU/DSP/GPU/NPU heterogeneous computing, and embedded platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with firmware development, board bring-up, driver development, debugging, boot flow, memory maps, cache/MPU/MMU concepts, peripheral registers, and low-power software design.
