Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to understand customer challenges and articulate Sumo Logic’s value proposition.
Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and technical skill.
Lead technical validations during the Proof of Value phase of the sales cycle.
Engage with all levels of an organization, from executives to developers.
Deliver product and technical demonstrations of Sumo Logic services.
Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to enhance the Sumo Logic service.

B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; M.S. preferred.
2+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar roles.
Hands-on knowledge of security-related products and technologies.
Experience with open source collections like Telegraf and FluentD preferred.
Experience leading technical validations like Proof of Value preferred.
Familiarity with SaaS solutions in multi-tenant architectures.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure preferred.
Broad understanding of technical infrastructure including servers and networking.
Knowledge of modern application architecture and experience with Kubernetes or Docker preferred.
Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk or Datadog preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
