Base Salary
$104k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis and resolution.
- Develop cloud software and AI/ML capabilities hosted on large-scale compute clusters and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and integrate distributed software using high-level programming languages and OpenSource NoSQL products.
- Create and implement software test plans and test scripts and support software integration and testing.
- Design and develop automated analytic software, techniques, algorithms, and potentially JavaScript web applications.
- Work with LLMs, agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AWS SDKs and APIs, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and observability tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired and may be considered equivalent to two years of experience; related fields include Mathematics, Information Systems, and Engineering.
- At least two years of directly related software development or engineering experience, including requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis and resolution.
- At least one year of experience developing software with high-level languages such as Java, C, or C++.
- At least two years of experience in software integration and software testing, including developing and implementing test plans and test scripts.
- Experience with distributed, massively parallel OpenSource NoSQL products such as HBase, Accumulo, or BigTable.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud developer certifications, Hadoop/Hive/Pig and HDFS experience, cloud scalability, cluster monitoring, Accumulo internals, JavaScript web development, automated analytics, LLMs, agentic AI, RAG, AWS architecture, AWS SDKs and APIs, CloudFormation or Terraform, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Linux, scripting, Kubernetes, and security and compliance practices.
