Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems for savings and wealth management products.
- Contribute to the architecture of subsystems supporting savings and investment features.
- Collaborate across teams to establish technical alignment and deliver impactful features.
- Mentor engineers, review code, and promote high engineering standards.
- Own technical work from start to finish using PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and related technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of related backend software engineering experience in product-based companies.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining microservices and cloud environments.
- Strong experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms; AWS experience is a plus.
- Experience with financial systems or transactional consistency is a plus.
- Ability to solve complex problems, communicate clearly with stakeholders, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers.
- Fluent English and comfort working in a fast-paced FinTech environment.
