Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve services throughout their lifecycle, including inception, design, deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Develop software platforms and frameworks and provide system design consulting.
- Perform capacity planning and launch reviews before services go live.
- Measure and monitor availability, latency, and overall system health for live services.
- Scale systems sustainably through automation and drive changes that improve reliability and engineering velocity.
- Participate in sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- At least 2 years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
