Responsibilities
- Define and own the front-end architectural strategy for the MediaOS platform.
- Establish standards, patterns, best practices, and governance across applications, shared libraries, and design systems.
- Lead technology evaluations, architectural reviews, modernization initiatives, and technical debt management.
- Design scalable, high-performance web applications and evolve shared UI frameworks, component libraries, and design systems.
- Define standards for observability, accessibility, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to improve pipelines and developer experience.
- Develop architectural roadmaps and support cloud-native, distributed, and micro-frontend initiatives.
- Partner with UX, Product, back-end architects, and engineering teams on reusable frameworks, API integration, data strategies, and business-aligned technical decisions.
- Mentor senior and staff engineers and facilitate architecture review boards and technical design discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least five years focused on front-end architecture and large-scale web applications.
- Deep expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript development.
- Extensive experience with Vue.js and enterprise-scale front-end ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of state management, component architecture, application performance optimization, API design, integration patterns, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing and implementing design systems and shared UI platforms.
- Proven ability to lead technical strategy across multiple teams and products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience in healthcare, life sciences, advertising technology, digital marketing, or media platforms.
- Preferred experience with micro-frontends, federated architecture, WCAG, secure development, GraphQL, event-driven architectures, real-time web applications, Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, platform modernization, and people or architecture community leadership.
