Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance GNSS and inertial navigation technology.
- Develop embedded firmware for algorithms, filters, and mechanization, including designing new features and improving performance.
- Integrate and evaluate new IMUs and investigate sensor technologies and positioning techniques.
- Conduct real-world testing, collect GNSS/INS data, and perform detailed data analysis.
- Develop new tools and utilities and investigate and resolve system defects.
- Collaborate with other departments to analyze and debug customer applications and data.
- Define functional and performance requirements, then design, code, and test production releases to schedule and quality targets.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical, Geomatics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 4 years of industry experience.
- Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of software development practices and methodologies.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of coordinate systems and reference frames.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Knowledge of GNSS/INS systems and filtering techniques such as least-squares and Kalman filtering is preferred.
- Familiarity with geodetic principles and experience with embedded or mechatronic systems are preferred.
