Responsibilities
- Design, build, and innovate Accellor’s software product.
- Develop full-stack web applications using Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Convert wireframes and mockups into clean, semantic, responsive HTML and CSS.
- Build scalable frontend architectures that account for HTTP requests, SQL queries, memory management, and large datasets.
- Optimize client-side and server-side application performance.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and quality engineers.
- Use Git and GitHub for source control and contribute to evolving requirements and team success.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience building web applications with Rails, Entity, Spring, or a similar MVC framework.
- 5+ years of experience working with SQL databases, ideally relational databases such as Postgres and RDS.
- 7+ years of experience using JavaScript and TypeScript to build single-page applications with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- 7+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and styling web applications.
- 3+ years of experience converting wireframes or mockups into semantic HTML and CSS with a focus on responsive design and performance.
- Experience using Git for source control with GitHub.
- Experience with Chart.js, Highcharts, D3, or another popular charting library.
- Experience working with large datasets and scalable frontend architectures.
- A performance mindset focused on client-side and server-side optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, proactive execution, and the ability to learn quickly.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and willingness to embrace changing requirements; leadership ambitions are a plus.
