Base Salary
$65k - $75k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and support technical automation solutions using various methods, tools, and platforms.
- Continuously improve existing automation solutions by identifying optimization and efficiency opportunities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to team members.
- Execute assigned automation tasks and projects independently after they are scoped by an Engineer.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Business Process Analysts, and other technical resources to clarify requirements and develop solutions.
- Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Escalate process gaps, ambiguous requirements, and blockers to an Engineer.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and peers.
- Test solutions to ensure functionality and data integrity meet business requirements and deadlines.
- Follow code review processes and human-in-the-loop oversight practices for AI-assisted documentation, development, and testing outputs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of development experience in Python.
- At least 1 year of experience with front-end or back-end data environments, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or data analytics.
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain a 6C Federal security clearance.
- Proficiency in Python programming, critical thinking, automation, and optimization.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Office, AI tooling, APIs, databases, and back-end data environments.
- Ability to build and deploy automation solutions according to project requirements and timelines.
- Experience applying software development lifecycles, development best practices, and Kanban methodologies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage multiple tasks.
- A four-year college degree is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
