Responsibilities
- Architect, build, automate, monitor, and optimize AI/ML infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Configure Azure VMs, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Machine Learning compute, Azure Storage, networking, and security services for AI workloads.
- Write, review, and debug code, scripts, and infrastructure-as-code for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment tooling.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for AI systems, models, and applications.
- Deploy and operate AI services, model-serving components, data pipelines, GPU-accelerated compute, distributed training environments, and containerized workloads.
- Monitor infrastructure and model-serving health, troubleshoot compute, storage, networking, container, and application issues, and document reusable patterns and runbooks.
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, platform engineers, and architects to integrate AI models into enterprise systems while meeting compliance and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience is required for the project role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering field, with 15 years of full-time education.
- At least two years of experience coding, building, monitoring, or troubleshooting AI/ML infrastructure, data platforms, model deployment pipelines, or cloud/platform engineering solutions.
- At least two years of proficiency with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, C++, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Azure AI infrastructure services, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containers, Kubernetes, workflow orchestration, operational monitoring, and MLOps patterns.
- Experience designing or operating GPU/accelerated compute, distributed training setups, containerized deployments, and model-serving workloads.
- Knowledge of infrastructure optimization for performance, reliability, scalability, cost, and security, plus familiarity with AI/ML concepts and enterprise operational requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure certifications, large language model infrastructure, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, GPU scheduling, model optimization, security controls, FinOps, incident management, and production support processes.
