Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design for systems with significant scope and blast radius while accounting for growth, compliance, performance, and reliability.
- Provide technical direction on ambiguous, cross-cutting problems and lead initiatives spanning multiple engineers or systems.
- Partner with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to shape problems and build cross-team technical credibility.
- Set durable standards for code reviews, testing, and incident reviews, and identify systemic technical risks before incidents occur.
- Mentor Senior and mid-level engineers on technical judgment, scope, escalation, decision-making, and effective use of AI-assisted tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives across multiple engineers or systems.
- Deep expertise in frontend and/or backend technologies relevant to the OneTrust platform, including cloud architecture experience.
- Experience with CI/CD and orchestration frameworks.
- Professional hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Devin, Windsurf, or similar.
- Nice to have experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architectures, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, and SaaS products at scale.
