Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and day-to-day guidance for the Billing and Hub teams.
- Own the end-to-end design of the billing service, including finance and CRM integrations, subscriptions, entitlements, and consumption.
- Represent India in architecture reviews and senior technical forums while managing cross-team dependencies.
- Partner with Product, GTM, and Finance stakeholders to evolve billing and consumption models as pricing changes.
- Work hands-on with engineers using AI and agentic tools to build, debug, and challenge solutions.
- Mentor colleagues in effective use of AI and agentic development tools.
Requirements
- Extensive backend experience with Java and Spring Boot in a strong product-company environment.
- Proven system design and architecture skills with experience leading technical direction at Principal level.
- Experience with billing, subscription, or entitlement systems.
- Understanding of authentication, authorisation, and permissions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Practical experience using AI tools in development or building AI-enabled solutions, plus curiosity about agentic ways of working.
