Responsibilities
- Support the operations of SAP HANA Cloud Tooling’s globally distributed Kubernetes platform.
- Use AI and LLM tools for scripting, incident debugging, runbook generation, and solution exploration.
- Develop skills in Kubernetes cluster operations, Helm chart management, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Build and maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Write Python tooling to automate operational workflows and reduce operational toil.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analyses and help create runbooks.
- Collaborate with developers, support teams, platform engineers, and global teams.
Requirements
- Be a graduate or college student studying computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- Have hands-on Python experience with scripts, automation, or tooling.
- Have used AI or LLM tools such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT to build or automate something.
- Know Linux, shell scripting, and command-line workflows.
- Have basic awareness of Docker and container orchestration concepts.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and English-language skills.
- Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, or Terraform experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki is a plus.
- Significant hobby programming experience, including personal projects, hackathons, or programming contests, is appealing.
- Strong academic performance is preferred for recent graduates.
