Responsibilities

Understand detailed requirements for functional and usability testing of web applications and backend services.
Review stories and participate in grooming and sprint planning to assess testing efforts.
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
Write detailed test cases for thorough feature validation, including exploratory testing.
Perform hands-on test execution and manage the defect workflow effectively.
Automate test cases for functional and regression testing using Selenium.
Monitor daily regression builds to ensure code quality and stability.
Contribute to product design discussions to ensure testability and robustness.
Collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams and troubleshoot application issues.

5–7 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing within product-based organizations.
Strong expertise in Java, TestNG, and Selenium, including designing and implementing automation frameworks.
Experience in API testing using tools like SOAP UI and Postman, with proficiency in testing RESTful and SOAP interfaces.
Comfortable working with relational and NoSQL databases and understanding JavaScript, HTML5, and VueJS.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
Solid grasp of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills.
