Base Salary
$251k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of multi-sensor, multi-task model architectures for dense scene understanding.
- Architect and develop foundational modeling libraries and software for model development and experimentation.
- Implement sensor encoders, sensor fusion modules, backbones, and temporal aggregation or memory blocks.
- Optimize machine learning models for latency, throughput, memory, and strict compute budgets.
- Build and maintain flexible prototyping pipelines and development environments for rapid model iteration and analysis of training dynamics and learned representations.
- Collaborate with downstream teams on optimization and integration into the Waymo Driver.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline, or an equivalent amount of deep learning experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in machine learning and/or computer vision.
- Strong expertise in Python and C++ with a solid software engineering background.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
