Base Salary

$207k - $243k/yr

Responsibilities

Architect MCP-first platforms for scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure.
Build federated context systems for agents to retrieve and reason over context.
Lead the design of agent-to-tool communication frameworks.
Enable conversational agent ecosystems through integrations with platforms like Slack and Teams.
Drive technical leadership by leading architecture reviews and mentoring engineers.
Continuously improve platform scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.

B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline; M.S. preferred.
8+ years of experience in building large-scale, distributed backend systems.
Deep expertise in distributed systems, including microservices and fault-tolerant architectures.
Strong backend programming skills in Java, Scala, Go, or Python.
Experience with concurrency and async programming.
Proficient in API and protocol design.
Hands-on experience with MCP servers or similar agent protocols.
Experience operating 24x7 multi-tenant services with SLAs.
Familiarity with AWS cloud-native services and Infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge of security practices including OAuth and secrets management.
