Responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated tests using established test frameworks for cloud platform features.
- Apply Closed Box testing techniques and basic Open Box analysis to identify defects early.
- Set direction for day-to-day testing activities within the feature team and provide informal guidance to team members.
- Integrate automated tests and quality checks into Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Participate in discovery sessions with Product Managers and Developers to define acceptance criteria and test coverage.
- Use Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code to accelerate test automation, generate test data, and automate regression suites.
- Validate REST APIs and relational database data using tools such as Postman and SQL Server.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software quality engineering experience.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience creating automated tests with languages and frameworks such as C#, .NET, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Understanding of state-transition testing, decision tables, domain analysis, code reviews, and statement and branch coverage.
- Intermediate experience with Behavior-Driven Development techniques and tools.
- Experience with or strong interest in mastering AI tools including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.
- Technical proficiency with SQL Server or relational databases for data verification.
- Experience testing REST APIs, such as with Postman.
- Experience with AI agentic test development, Azure or AWS cloud computing, infrastructure concepts, performance or security testing, or construction-sector software is beneficial.
