Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy for enterprise and strategic payment opportunities.
- Design scalable payment and integration solutions for customers and partners.
- Advise on acquiring, payment gateways, APIs, e-commerce, and omnichannel solutions.
- Deliver technical workshops, solution presentations, and executive briefings.
- Support RFPs, customer bids, and complex solution design activities.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Integration teams.
- Mentor Solution Engineers and contribute to the growth of the European Solution Engineering practice.
- Stay current with payment technology and industry trends.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in payments, acquiring, gateways, fintech, or payment technology.
- Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, transaction processing, APIs, and integration architectures.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise customers and complex technical sales engagements.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience presenting to technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with payment gateways, e-commerce, and API-based integrations is a plus.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, EMV, tokenization, and payment security principles is a plus.
- Strong solution architecture and consulting skills.
- Experience mentoring technical teams and influencing across matrix organizations is a plus.
