Responsibilities

Develop architecture and designs that meet product requirements.
Design, implement, and test embedded software using C and C++.
Conduct unit, integration, and system testing activities.
Develop software for ARM processors using RTOS and bare-metal implementations.
Implement low-level wired and wireless communication protocols, including USB, RS232, SPI, I2C, CAN, Bluetooth, BLE, and Wi-Fi.
Implement secure boot and contribute to safety-critical system code design.
Use JIRA, version control, and code reviews within a controlled software-development workflow.
Collaborate with product management, end customers, and New Product Development teams.
Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers to test and debug systems.
Contribute to embedded software development guidelines and best practices.

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.
At least 6 years of relevant experience is required.
Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and test embedded software solutions.
Experience with Embedded C, C++, ARM processors, RTOS, and bare-metal implementations.
Experience with low-level communication protocols such as USB, RS232, SPI, I2C, and CAN.
Experience with wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, BLE, or Wi-Fi.
Experience with industrial controls, including VFD drives.
Working knowledge of electronic circuits and ability to read schematic diagrams.
Proficiency with test and debug tools including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Experience with control systems design and implementation, RF communications hardware and software, industrial wired networks, and SIL3 safety-critical system code is preferred or considered a plus.
Ability to solve problems independently, collaborate effectively, and meet critical deadlines.
