Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture for insurance transformation, application modernization, and managed services engagements.
- Define end-to-end architectures covering applications, integration, data, cloud, security, and infrastructure.
- Engage clients and stakeholders to understand objectives, requirements, and challenges and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Provide architectural leadership across development, integration, migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security requirements, and governance frameworks.
- Develop solution proposals, architecture roadmaps, effort estimates, and transition strategies.
- Support pre-sales activities including RFP responses, workshops, presentations, and client solution discussions.
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and constraints and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams and drive innovation across client engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of IT experience, including significant experience in solution architecture or architecture leadership roles.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Architect, or Architecture Lead in insurance, IT services, or a systems integrator environment.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale application development, modernization, and digital transformation programs.
- Experience with insurance platforms and processes including policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, and customer engagement.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, integration architecture, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience working with geographically distributed delivery teams and managing complex delivery environments or multiple workstreams.
- Strong knowledge of Java, .NET, APIs, microservices, middleware, event-driven architecture, and modern application architectures.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience supporting solution development, effort estimation, proposal creation, and pre-sales engagements.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, client communication, commercial awareness, leadership, mentoring, and strategic thinking skills.
- TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, SAFe Architect, PMP, or Scrum certifications are advantageous.
