Responsibilities

Design and implement infrastructure for metrics, monitoring, alerting, deployment, and logging.
Set up new environments and deploy solutions across multiple stages.
Build proactive monitoring and alerting services.
Automate tasks using Ansible, Python, Perl, and other scripting languages.
Investigate performance and stability issues internally and at client sites.
Tune Actimize Platform, OS, application servers, and databases for optimal performance.
Identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
Participate in performance-related design reviews.
Configure and optimize instances and web servers.
Provide AWS troubleshooting support across various services.
Support and implement infrastructure and application deployments.
Handle high-severity incidents spanning multiple AWS services.
Develop scripts and tools to automate AWS resource deployment.
Drive customer communication during critical events.
Provide on-call support and work flexibly in a 24x7 shift environment.

8+ years of relevant experience in Infrastructure Operations or Application Support.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Expertise in performance tuning, root cause analysis, and bottleneck mitigation.
Hands-on experience managing 2-tier/3-tier applications.
Proficiency in scripting languages: Ansible, Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell, PowerShell.
Solid understanding of AWS core services and container orchestration.
Experience with databases: SQL, Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra.
Familiarity with ELK, Splunk, Kafka, and middleware technologies.
Exposure to APM tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
Experience in Java performance testing and tuning.
Collaboration with architecture teams for hardware sizing.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
