Base Salary
$114k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own customer-facing features and platform capabilities from design and implementation through production rollout.
- Architect, build, test, and deliver full-stack products across services, APIs, web, and mobile experiences.
- Integrate LLMs into safety workflows and build agent tooling, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI-driven product interactions.
- Design evaluations and human-in-the-loop feedback loops to improve AI insight quality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Use metrics, logs, tests, tracing, and observability practices to investigate issues and improve production reliability.
- Make technical tradeoffs across speed, maintainability, scalability, cost, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, ML, AI, and platform teams.
- Use AI coding tools and agents to plan, build, and ship software.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience building, shipping, and operating reliable customer-facing production systems.
- Strong programming fundamentals in Golang, Java, Python, or another comparable language, including clean code development and code review.
- Experience developing features or end-to-end solutions across backend services, APIs, and modern web applications.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in AI-native development, including LLM integration, agentic workflows, or AI output evaluations.
- Experience using data, metrics, logs, tests, or tracing to investigate issues, validate releases, and improve reliability.
- Ability to independently own moderately complex projects and deliver milestones.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with customer-facing AI or LLM-powered products, agent tooling, RAG, prompt engineering, conversational or voice experiences is preferred.
- Experience with LLM evaluation and observability tools such as Langfuse or Eino is preferred.
- Experience with AI coding agents, modern full-stack technologies, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
- Familiarity with observability, rollout practices, and monitoring approaches is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
