Responsibilities
- Craft, test, and fine-tune prompts for Gong applications including Gong Assistant.
- Assist with building and maintaining multi-agent systems, tool-retrieval workflows, memory mechanisms, and execution paths.
- Evaluate prompt performance using test datasets, benchmarking frameworks, and user feedback.
- Run systematic experiments on prompting techniques and advances in NLP and generative AI.
- Document prompt structures, evaluation results, and system behavior.
- Test prompts to reduce hallucinations and improve accuracy, consistency, and context-aware responses.
- Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, engineers, and senior prompt engineers.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt-design techniques through internships, academic projects, personal projects, or 1–2 years of professional experience.
- Basic working knowledge of AI development frameworks or agentic concepts such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LLM APIs, or RAG pipelines.
- A methodical, data-driven approach to experimentation, measurement, and iteration.
- Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language for automated prompt testing, evaluation, and data processing.
- Strong communication, collaboration, curiosity, and ability to learn quickly.
