Responsibilities
- Communicate with engineering teams to identify problems, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks.
- Create or evaluate software solutions and workflows that improve engineering tasks.
- Learn and use AI tools to write code more efficiently.
- Work with design engineers to determine how AI can support circuit design and verification.
- Add requested features and fix bugs in existing workflows.
- Create training documentation and train engineers on new workflows.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or PhD program.
- Must have a background in software development.
- Must be available to work onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from January through June 2027 and complete the co-op before graduation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, UNIX, Python, VS Code, and AI tools.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Preferred experience includes data analysis, SystemVerilog, Verilog, Verilog-AMS, behavioral modeling, analog/RF integrated circuit design, and SKILL coding.
