Base Salary

$99k - $171k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions.
  • Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
  • Develop real-time embedded software using Ada, C, and C++.
  • Test software and assist with system-level testing to verify functionality.
  • Analyze problem reports and troubleshoot software defects.
  • Develop models, simulations, support tools, automated development environments, and software configuration and release processes.
  • Work directly with United States Air Force and Navy customers.
  • Complete a technical CodeVue coding assessment as part of the selection process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience programming in C, C++, or Ada.
  • At least 3 years of experience in real-time embedded software development.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing software using object-oriented principles.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the government clearance.
  • U.S. Person status is required to meet export control compliance requirements.
  • Preferred qualifications include 5 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include Level 2 or Level 3 experience as defined by Boeing’s education and related-experience alternatives.
  • Preferred experience includes Ada, Python, C#, Agile software development, Git or similar version control, and developing and tracing software requirements.
  • Candidates must satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest assessment process and are subject to applicable post-offer drug testing.
